Default My sapphire :)

here is a few pics of my sapphire which i restored last year, it is a full rep and everything excluding the engine is cosworth outside and in.
there is quite alot of work done to it regarding the suspension, inc. avx coilovers, full polybush kit, lots of work done for extra steering lock, and much more.
and just last night i bought myself a 24v boa

thanks for looking

Nice low rider . Does it has the rear axle of a Cosworth? If not you could get problems with tire wear because of the angle of the wheels.
What kind of engine does it has at this moment?

I think those sideskirts are not original RS Cosworth to be honest.

thanks i think the cosworth and non-cosworth rear ends both suffer from camber when lowered? however it has cosworth diff etc,
and i suffer from alot of tyre wear but i dont mind
it is a 2litre dohc atm, which will be out asap to make way for the BOA

you're right, they are RS skirts, not cosworth but that was just personal preference

Hi,

No the rear triangle arms (if that is what they are called) are different from a Cosworth. That's why Cosworths dont have tire wear when lowered. You can buy plates for a standard rear axle to compensite this angle. I think I have seen these at Ebay. Just a tip to stop this tire wear and keep the money in your pocket.

cheeRS guys, to tell you the truth i just have to be quite cautious on my roads are they are proper country roads and full of bumps and hollows, and i just have to watch for catching the splitter on the ground (repaired twice now!) other than that its fine, perfect for smooth roads and towns (except speed bumps)

24v is in, hybrid mt75 box made and fitted, wiring loom finished tonight, just witing on parts now and she shouldnt be far away from starting, collecting exhaust pipe tomorrow night to make the exhaust too
all work done by myself of course
lets hope she fires up!!
