As above, after a great day at classic ford yesterday, we both had day off work today. So went to get his carbs set up. was over the moon with the power 176bhp and 168 torque at the flywheel 141bhp at wheels

Nice, standard lump on carb's?
My mates dad has a black rs2k with the same setup (was on Shropshire rs owners stand yesterday) made very similar figures too, about 180 i think.

I'm surprised it didn't make more!

Perfect combo of engine and car! Shame more mk2's don't do the conversion

Is a bit tired the engine but we are going to get another lump and rebuild that so i can keep using it .Theres a bit more life in the old one yet
