Local car show, Skeyton Goat.
Went to a car show a couple of miles down the road at a local pub yesterday here are the pics I took on my phone (not the best quality sorry).

Jesus wept, hows that for a Metro?!
What was the spec of it, any idea? I assume its a MG turbo mill in it

It's my mate Jonny's Metro. MG Metro engine, 13x8 0 offset slotmags, converted to Polo coil overs at the back, stripped and lightened everywhere, fibreglass bootlid... All done by himself. Was mine before I sold it to him and was completely standard lol.

Wow that's a meet and a half!! I like the 3dr corsair next to the metro! Why did he convert it to coil overs? I thought they were supposed to handle very well on the hydro suspension? And I would assume he didn't do it for ride height either as you can get them on their nuts with the hydro??

Converted to coilovers because when he had it lowered right down on the gas VOSA didn't like the lack of suspension travel... Instead of just pumping it up he decided to redesign the suspension, as you do lol

Grand job, he's put some work in. Is it bad i've a real soft spot for a 'Tro?! 
Just spied that rusted bonnet propped up in the corner of the picture, why HELP a metro to rust, they did it well enough by themselves!
