Newbie with my 3Door purchased today (New Pic page 2)
Hello.
After many moons car wanking over 3dr Cossies and any RS in general I have finally bit the bullet and got myself one.
Loving it. Got plenty of plans for it, which I will update later. Here is the car. Please give me your opinions on what you think and any improvements I can make. Go careful like..I am a RS virgin. Engine has just been rebuilt. Running standard power for now. 77K will full History. Nuff talkin:

One thing that is chewing my arse is the dash. Yes I know its a common fault for them to crack but it looks gash... Literally.
Can these cracks be repaired?

There is a company local to me that did my windows on my Range Rover, when chatting to him he mentioned they did dash repairs...never needed it till now. I might take it down on monday to see what he says... Worth a punt!

Chasing Radders
Looks well buddy.
TBH i would leave it as it is to start with and get used to it, give it a good service and make sure its running ok. Get a few thousand mile under your belt so you know its all ok....then start looking at more power.....

I say 500 grilles, a 4wd or rs500 inter cooler and a nms gunship remap. Maybe a few suspension mods like bushes and beam mount dependant upon what is already on. Then just enjoy it.

Looks a really nice car to start with - imo they look better with the side mouldings on but have got expensive over the last couple of years (repro for £265) but a replacement universal is available for around £30
Looks like the suspension and brakes have been seen too - the dash isn't something to worry about i know loads of 3dr's have ditched the grill dash and opted for the better Sapphire dash that doesn't have a cracking problem and they are cheap
