since i sold the cosworth i got a bit bored with nothing to tinker with so bought an XR4I as they are getting uite rare now, have had it about 3 weeks and have given the underside a bit of a tidy up.
this is how it stands at present but going in for some paint at the end of the month, also thinking of changing the wheels also have cossie front hubs and brakes to go on but need to source a rollbar and clamps first.
PS number plates are only on loose as the are coming off for paint

That looks stunning, I really like the xr4i shape.
I know of one that is on a drive near where I work, its been there 8years+.
It looks clean enough. I have been meaning to knock and ask if it was for sale

will get it out the garage and look this weekend.
i paid what may be considered to much but it is a very solid car with cossy bonnet, bumper, grill, unleaded heads, etc but also came with a janspeed turbo engine, spare bumpers body kit, interior including recaro's, spare stainless exhaust and loads of other bits and i paid £1800. i looked at a few that was slightly cheaper but needed more work.

I think 1800 is a good price if it's as solid as it looks like it should be, especially with the spares. I looked at one last week for 900 and it was shite...
I reckon black trim over red
