I don't really do charity etc but this is different, you can really make a difference to so many peoples lives just by noticing this.

It maybe half an hour long but is worth watching
The short version is that Joseph Kony is the worlds worst war criminal and most of us have never heard of him. It is because of this that the governments have little or no interest in arresting him and bringing him to justice. His crimes are unspeakable and inhuman, he doesn't even have a cause...... All you have to do is notice him.

It's also interesting to see what their 'leader' pays himself and what expenses are claimed through the charity.
This is why I am so hesitant to donate to charity as a small percentage actually goes towards the cause, the rest to propping somebody up.

This is complete bullshit. It's internet slacktivism at its finest.
For the record the 'charity' who made this video is very very dodgy. Only a third of the money they make actually goes to charity - the rest goes to pay for their lavish lifestyle (over a million quid in travel expenses last year). They also favour military action, rather than aid. They do nothing for the medical, or, education needs of the children.
No one's seen Kony for months, as he's on the run and has left Uganda. But even if they did kill him Uganda would still be fucked. Killing Osama didn't stop terrorism!
Dont repost this video, you're not helping anyone other that the greedy bastards who run this so called charity.

I was thinking similar to Dan as I watched it, even little things like the way it's filmed just all looks a bit "trendy"? I reckon that there is so so many tribes out there like Konys one, it's just that he in now in the public limelight. You help with one community, do you have to help another? Where does it stop??

it reminds me of the stupid pics you see on facebook, usually of a small child in bed in hospital hooked to various machines with a caption like "young carlos needs a heart and lung transplant but his parents cant afford one, but the kind and loving doctors have said they'll give him one for free if.......this pic gets 100,000 Likes" bollocks, and as if the governments involved in that vid would really sit back and say "naaahh, we aint gonna do anything to help the 30,000 children and countless family members, why should we, not like anyone on facebook or the internet has noticed so why should we?" ha. if he's that bad they would've stepped in, or at least thats how i view it.

The charity favours military action, so when the US invades then Kony is just going to use the 30,000 kids to fight against the US = more deaths. Doesn't make any sense.
Although it has to be said, something does need to be done about this before it turns into another Rwanda where something like 500,000 people were killed.

There are cunts like him doing just as aweful if not worse things all over africa. hardly news is it.
Thing is, no one in power gives a shit about africa unless they have a resource we need (preferably oil) so wont do anything about the savage behaviour that goes on.
