i do feel very sorry for him, poor guy, but if i was spending that sort of money i would be looking underneath and checking everything. Fair enough though i understand its not always possible for some people.

i dont feel sorry for the bloke one bit if your going to spend that much money then you gotta be able to look it over every where know what you buying is the real deal

+1 if your going to be spending that sort of money on a 'classic' then you need to know what your looking at, even if hes not mechanically minded he should have taken someone with him who was! those welds stuck out a mile off! he also should have hpi checked it too, not sure if its as effective over there as it is in our country, but with ones in our country most will pay out if the information they give is wrong

That blue estate looks like a omega.It properly is but with different badges

vauxhall's in oz are known as holden's, they seem to go for big engine's like the wank's, the holden commodore has a 5.0 v8, yep sounds great

truth be told a cut n shut if done properly is no worse than an undamaged car, they are both made up of steel panels welded together

down the car aution this week i heard a story about someone's sister buying a nissan mirca, from someone selling in the autotrader, anyway she said to her brother that the doors dont look right, so when he went to have a look he noticed that it had the wrong doors on it, but after further investigation he was stocked to find that it was a nissan micra 3dr front end with 5dr rear end, not sure how all this goes together or how well it fits, but she phoned the asian seller back ......... all he said was "you have wrong number" and hung up
