What few people realise though was that this car has been lovely since it was built.
Ian took a nice car and made it better, then better still and then still not happy, he improved on perfection.

Had the car coming up for 4 years now, it was a totally mint standard car all bar a stage 1 chip, 39,000 miles. Had an all new 350bhp engine built, which I killed 6000 miles later at Bruntigthorpe, so had this 400bhp engine built by Harvey, it went in last summer. The car had a few nigaly imperfections in the bodywork, so starting from the underside, it has been fully restored, and the only thing not modded is the gearbox (yet ) It was featured in last months Performance Ford and this months Fast Ford with 3drbadboy (Ant), but it had my old Hockenheims on then. Spent FAR FAR too much money on the car over the years , but its all done now, well nearly .
Dunc, yes I probably wont be able to resist temptation on Sunday, so I will see you on the strip! Will be an interesting race

1st-ly, Well done..... thats the best i've seen that's that modded!
2ndly the wheels....... Don't wanna cause an issue, cos u guys know wot looks better on these then me...... But wouldn't it look even better with some nice Azev (Oh forget the name of the wheel but the same as on dunccoss's escort in his signature above)????
Mind you, with a car that MINT s'pose the wheels are no longer such a big issue!

Oski..... Hi mate, thanks for the comments Regarding the wheels, when you fit big brakes on the front of a 3dr (mine has 6 pots), finding a wheel that clears the caliper is difficult. I had Hockenheims on there before, and I had to modify the caliper so they cleared, and run 2mm spacers, which then alters the offset, thus ruining the handling Motorsport rims have no clearance issues, and out of the choice, Mo's are the best
