Default Some recent pics of my saff cos.

Thought i would post some recent pics of my saff and a few pics of some changes ive done to the car.

Had a little feature in fast ford mag.

I used my car for my friends uncles wedding.

I replaced the steering rack on my carand i jacked the engine up a bit,i found that the engine mounts were nackered so i replaced them with vibra tech mounts. The car felt so much better with the new mounts fitted. The car felt more responsive.

Since i have had the car i always fancied a bigger RS500 style intercooler.I lad on here was selling a group A K&N cone filter and the intercooler so i bought them.

I fitted the intercooler at work and i was suprise at the difference in performance.

I was booked on track at ford fair this year (2011) and i wanted the fueling to be checked cause with the standard intercooler on i had the fueling checked bu Will Pedley and got told it was slightly rich mid range in the revs, and at the top of the rev range it was slightly lean but he said i shouldnt worry about it.So at ford fair i left the car with Will again and Blacky whilst i went to sign on for the track time.I came back to the car only to get told the fueling was dangerously lean over 4.5k revs.

I was gutted and Will advised me not to go on track or if i do not to go over 4.5k revs.I decided to go out and i totaly enjoyed it even if i only had half engine power lol.

Back from ford fair.

So after ford fair it was time to do some saving up so that Will could work his magic on my car.I bought a Bosch 044 fuel pump and new fuel filter.Blacky give me a hand to rewire the fuel pump due to been checked before and only having 11 volts at the fuel pump.

I took a few pics of the old chip for Will cause he wanted me to make sure the ecu had a pectel board fitted.

Will though the old chip was a collins performance chip?????

So i arange with Will to get the car booked in with him to do his magic on the car on the 08/09/11.

He was fitting a new msd evolution chip with closed loop.He phoned me up saying it needed a better actuator so i gave him the go ahead to fit a new one.He also fitted the lambda with was needed for closed loop (as most of you will know)

He dropped the car off at about 6ish on the night and i went out in the car with him.Well i can say its like a different car.It feels so more responsive and im so amazed at the difference in the car.

Here are some pics of the car that i took last weekend when it was nice and sunny so i thought i would gave her a polish.

Shock the next day it pissed do.So that was a waste of time giving the cara good polish.

I dropped the wife off in town to get some bits so i thought i would take a few pics. And shock its been raining again lol.

I just wanna saythanks to Will Pedley for sorting my carout for me and snapping my handbrake cable when doing the work on my car lol.

Thanks to Blacy for helping me with the fuel pump wiring.

Thanks for looking people.

Thanks to you all for the kind comments its not minty mint but its tidy.
It gets used nearly everyday and just sits on the drive when not used.

It needs a bit of welding which will be getting done next month as well as getting treated to koni adjustable suspension too.

Unless Scotland is different than England, i'd just like to say how HOMO your measure are - 35ml measures are where it's at, not poofter 25ml limey ones
