Aint really tried but it seems like it pulls away pretty easy from the CSL up the gears from a standing start.

Keen to get them on track or up crail for a proper test.

Awesome car, we spoke to a guy at the Ring in April & he'd just got the 1st one. Bought it in America & had BMW ship it over to Germany for the weekend.

He had fun running it in.

Love the flared arches and front bumper on these, proper aggressive like all top range car should be! You look at that and know its a 1M, not just a 1 series with some slightly bigger wheels.

I really enjoy the drive of it and with all driving aids (traction etc) its a hoot to drive.

Only thoughts/plans for the car could be a change of exhaust and remap which would take it to around 400bhp (safely)

I REALLY wanna like it.... love the concept and from some angles it looks cool. But overall it just looks frumpy and dumpy to me.

VERY cool car... but just cant live with the looks. The CSL looks far better to me.

Nice to have a turbo charged little M car though!

The manual only gearbox puts me off it as well. Clutches are such a pain in traffic and paddles and sequentials just work better on track.

Will be a collectable car for future I think. Last ever manual M car I reckon. made in small numbers too.

Really Like 1M's, Look The Part, And By All Accounts, Are A Very Good Car. They tested One On The Last Series Of Top Gear, Looked Impressive.

i mean the 1M is the absolute bollocks of a car no doubt about it, but theres something about the CSL that i cant quite put my finger on..... but id rather have an e46 m3 csl than the e92 m3 tbh

Love it mate, just out of interest, is it the photos or are they bigger than the csl? as it looks much chunkier!

I took a 1 series coupe out the other week, ok, a 120d so no power machine but have to say I really liked the drive, small chunky chuckable but at the same time didnt feel like a little car when cruising along.

123d m sport coupe in the next few months for me as soon as the right one pops up.
