It was in the region of 750+ back in 2010, i think tommy field looks after it.

Engine was built with a brand new 200 block and a brand new rs500 head that was cnc ported and polished, new crank new everything iirc.

Was on the front cover of Performance Ford in nov 2007 with 600bhp.

It was around 800bhp last time it was dyno'd down Tommy's if I remember correctly

Didn't go as quickly as Charlie's at Ford Fair, and that's deffo 800+. So I'd say its a BAM's a shade off.

I'm not sure you can compare the two cars with them being so different, i'd like to see weight specs and suspension specs gear ratios blah blah.. charlies is an all out race car.

Yes your right 2 very different spec cars James's being 90's tech with ex Grp A/WRC running gear which weights alot due to having to cope with rallying on rough ground & jumps etc so Ford didn't cut corners making light weight items to risk parts failing & its still a full steel shell,steel roof,wings,bonnet,doors & still all glass window's etc.

As for charlies that has been purpose built with track action as priority with newer technology with space frame chassis all M-Sport carbon panels (which is just porn lol) & has he got perspex windows etc?
Not sure on weights but would imagine charlies to be few hundred kg's lighter than B5 but when i,ve got it in the garage in the next few weeks i'll get it on the weigh bridge ha.

Oh also alot is down to the driver i,ve seen charlie & he can certainly drive the wheels off what ever he seems to be pilot'ing

Amazing Escos, and how can anyone say it doesnt look quick, compare it to other cars in the vid ie mk2 focus rs's - other cosworths, it make's them look terrible.

Didn't say that did I, I said compare it to Charlie Shaw's Both are amazing cars, equally different in many ways, but great to compare with both running roughly same power as each other

Ha nice one pal believe it on not it was a pig to get at cos of the steering rack but a couple of drops of stud lock & wound it back in & it was happy days
Gonna go over the whole car & spanner check everything again

Earlier post mate not you, to see them both together would be great, and if they can hang on my PUG 106 cosworth with ffd 7spd and around 700bhp roughly same spec may be out to play aswell next year at FF.
