That made me laugh when you came sprinting over to me all excited! lol
I was chatting to him when he was in front of me and a wasp was on his neck, got it off and the f***er landed on me in exactly the same place, rolled his sleeves up and bloody stung me!

maybe the tired make the difference? ford must have checked it with a certain amound of fuel [weight] ?? tyres... on the launch.. all depends bud... nice car btw

It doesn't help that they don't rev over 3000rpm when in first and clutch in. Factory set rev limiter.
Thinking about it now i may of been better riding the clutch a bit rather than just lifting straight off? FIrst time I ever done out like this today. I really enjoyed it, apart from taking 3 hours to get 3 runs in which meant I missed loads.
It doesn't help that they don't rev over 3000rpm when in first and clutch in. Factory set rev limiter.
Thinking about it now i may of been better riding the clutch a bit rather than just lifting straight off? FIrst time I ever done out like this today. I really enjoyed it, apart from taking 3 hours to get 3 runs in which meant I missed loads.

you can get it re set mine went to i think it was 4200 takes off much better mine had dremscence. oh how i mis my st

Next on the shopping list is a CAIS, IC, turbo down pipe and different map to hopefully break 300 bhp but thats when funds permit!

I think it's all down to the driver at the end of the day, I'm sure that someone who owns the car and doesn't want to leave a trail of engine behind them is going to be a bit gentler on the giddy up than a bloke who gets paid to rag cars to death to wring the last possible 0.01 seconds out of them at a test track would.

I didn't take it easy on her at all Dojj! But experience goes a long way! First time I have done anything like that.
Even if I had Wenny's Escort there is no way I would hit sub 3 seconds like he was or any where near it.

My old ST had a panel filter & dreamscience and I could consistantly run a 6.5 second 0-60 on a couple of iphone apps, I know they probably aren't great but they are probably more accurate than the gear at Silverstone

I used g-tac free for one run and on the next run I used pocket dyno. On the g-tac it was 6.59 seconds and on the pocket dyno app it was 6.55 seconds
