Oh dear mate! did i see this fast ford not so long ago? Cracking cossie.....whats the plan mate? you gunna replace it with a standard diff or uprate? all the best bud

fit a gripper or a quaife and a shoot peened and super finished crown wheel and pinion then your ok up too about 500 lb ft over that its a gamble again!

Yeah this is the FastFord featured car. That was diff number 6 as far as I can work out Got another standard one to drop in for now....but yes an upgrade is needed.

lol I was discussing this with a mate earlier as he's got a lovely 3phase mig in his garage. Even if it just sits on the shelf as a spare to get me out of the shit if needs be, it's not going to cost me anything to do....so yes, I think I will be welding up this scrapper soon.

Where to find these upprated crown wheel and pinion?
My pinion is ripped in 2 pieces!


Do you use the standard ratio on your diffs cossie604 ?
I am going to fit a 4,27 ratio this time

any good engineering company with the machinery could do it i had mine done by my mates dad who works for hewland engineering but its not a cure all when you get to a certain torque point if your not gentle you will need a 9inch diff or one of the jag ones

At least it gets used properly and isnt rapped up in cotton wool. Lovely car too.
