Escort Cosworth or the 16" Si wheels look the nuts on Mondeo's.

No point in spending a shed load on bigger breaks to fit alloys if the power don't require them though.

May be get some 'spinner' hub caps to fill the gaps lol.

ive had both on it mate, sold my escos rims not long ago, becasue even running 195's with a stretch, they still caught on the back

And on the 16" mondeo rims

They would catch even more than the standard escos rims I had, plus, I don't fancy paying more for a set of rims, than the cars worth lol

Yeah fair one lol.

Didn't realise how small the Si and Cosworth wheels look on a mondy.

The ones you have fitted now, may be a hi gloss dark silver? Just to have a different tone to the rest of the car so they stand out a bit more but still being subtle?

that colour black only looks good on cars when theres tyre shine or gel on....make the tyres look dirty otherwise

I would love that car but to own one you would need to know what you are doing to fix etc, I dont. ST was another dream car, managed to buy one but modern enough not to have the reliability issues as a Cosworth (or the insurance!!!!)

Just the ticket mate, an EsCos is most deffinatly not an everyday car, you couldnt park it anywhere without having a heart attack for a start.

Cheers granty, its only took me 16 month to find some wheels you like

They will be getting painted mate, the fella i got them off, painted them himself, and hasnt done the best job, hence why i got them cheap. so gona buy some 215/35's for the back to stop it catching, and paint them, thats the plan anyway

Had a bastard nightmare today, been non stop fucking around with the car since 11am. went and pumped the tyres up, washed it, and went to my mates to fit the wheels and polish it. realised my locking wheels nuts are fucked, so phoned glenny boy, he said he had a decent set i could buy, so set off to his house in darlington, wheels were ctaching worse than any wheels ive ever head/heard, went back to my mates where i fitted the wheels, got the angle grinder out, chopped the arch lip back, sanded, painted, and laqured the lip, then, on the way home, the fuckers are still catching on corners and big bumps, and i cant really take much more off the arch lip, so im gona have to buy some 215/35's. then to add insult to injury, after spending the best of part of two hours polishing it, properly, it absolutely pissed down on the way home .

I swear, somtimes, i dont even know why i like cars, especially shonky old fords. i eventually find the rite wheels for it, and there an absolute bastard nightmare.

Liverpool won 5-0 today, that hasnt even cheered me up, fuck fords
