just painted the wheels on the rst shes nearly ready for the road a year in the making, getting new boot lid painted cus the old one is rotten and the cracked front bumper repaired and painted before mot
Both nice cars mate, very nice and clean. IMO yes the RST definitely needs lowering, looks higher than a standard RST.
appreciate you advice mate didnt think it was higher than a standard one to be honest maybe the camera angle will post another pic see what you think, i do like my cars low just look at the 306 lol
Lovin the Rs, white wheels i recon would go nice or rs7 diamond cuts
hi thanks mate! i have just painted the wheels ford gun metal grey! lol not keen on white wheels i would definitely have the rs7 if i could afford them im happy with them gun metal
Actually mate, i think you are right it could have been the camera angle because the last photos do look better but yeah i would still lower it a wee bit but not as much as the Pug .
Not sure about the sizes but i'd take it just a bit lower than standard, 60mm might be a bit much. If you can get 30mm lower then i'd probably go for that but it's your car mate so do what you are happy with.
Probably is standard but why not post your pics in the Escort RS Turbo section and get opinions from others that have one as i'm sure they will be more clued up on them that i am. Car does look nice though and all your work has certainly been worthwhile so in the meantime enjoy it until you decide just how low you want to go .
both are lovely mate. id lower the rs 25 n poly bush it. original bushes dont last long as is so lowering it will half their life. also lowering too much puts more strain on your wheel bearings. down 25mm on standard looks, is the boy. lush. another note, ambers back on, but thats just my opinion
If you are going to lower it dont go lower than 30mm they say 25-30 is best and looks nice the rst not to sure on the gunmetal alloys though as think its too dark with car being black need something lighter to break it up a bit but nice car all the same
