Thats bein rstored pal, being a former mk2 astra owner on the forum some bloke bought it for Ł500 with all the running gear and interior etc( minus c20let) and hes makin it look like a GTE.

Ha you should see the bodges it had on it, it had a t34 off a cossie on a home made manifold lol

 

90s mags are great. shame the wide bodykits, whaletails, 3 spokes didnt last but wot goes around comes around

I used to own that red RST from the max power buying guide - although it left me with 90 spec front bumper & rear spoiler.

Bit of an old thread.When i was youngee i used to hate the max power cars. To me they were chavy as fook.I was into hot rods and custom cars back then.

 

How long ago was this ?

I had it from around late '94 for a couple of years.

Chipped with 2 stage boost, pace intercooler, full s/s scorpian exhaust, k&n induction kit and a decent ICE set up, lowered with full koni adjustables on every corner. 90 spec front bumper & rear spoiler.

I never did see another RST with full leather trim.

 

My mate Preston was in either the first or second issue of Max Power in a rally car feature with his 2.1 pinto powered RWD wide arch metro, they even gave him an award for being the maddest fucker they'd ever seen in a car lol.
