Hello i have decided i need a new camera after trying to take some photos at a trackday this was the best i could manage with my crappy digital camera.


So i need something better but i am a complete novice so can someone please explain to me all the in's and out's i need to know. Also some recommendations of cameras and lenses. I don't mind spending money on something of good quality but remember this will be my first dslr camera so won't need the top bollock camera.

I picked up this camera for £160 from comet. Tell ya what, for a starting camera, its pretty good and quite cheap too. The 18x zoom on it is BRILLIANT. Plus it has all the variable settings you could ever want if your starting out in messing about with more complicated cameras.

FujiFilm Finepix S1850.

Best thing is it doesn't need any lenses to go with it.

Its a nice stop gap between a cheap normal camera and a semi pro one.
