Autosport 2011 pics
Spent today at the Autosport show, met up with a few of the regulars and managed to spend no more than the £10 my lunch was

Yeah got a mag form ireland when they build the red one the 1st time and it was some machine then. They sent it over to scotland just to get paainted. Seen it at kames just after it had been built for the mcrae day.. looks like some serious work gone into it. I'm guessing thats the one they were talking about in the motornews as having ideas of McRaes car

good pics! was there on thursday and took many of the same pics as you but they came out horrible due to the crap lights in the nec.
those irish mk2 rally cars were stunning, incredible bits of kit.

The Den Motorsport Red Mk2 is a completely new build from scratch. The original car that was on show last year, belonging to the same person, is still currently being used in competition. It has gone through a complete winter rebuild whilst the new "McRae" spec car was being built (maybe where the confusion came from). The New car is not yet fully ready for competition, so the "old" car will be used until then. I was lucky enough to see the car at the early stages of fabrication and it was a work of art in the bare metal. A lot of credit must go to Barry Den and his guys, firstly for their guts for trying something different, and secondly the quality.

nice pics james....did anyone see the focus rs green mk 2 escort....reg was wrc 555 i think.....wow it was gorgeous aswell. roy millington was on kent cams stand with his engine...what a bit of engineering...nice bloke too. i went fri and sat,great weekend.

I didn't see the Focus, I should of took more pics as there was a lot to see !

No pics of birds, my mrs would of given me ear ache if I came home with a hundred pics of sluts and 60 pics of cars and engines

hi guys, just reading through this thread here as i noticed you's talkin about the red and white mk2's from DEN motorsport and also the rs focus green mk2, i painted all three of these cars. You may hav seen my sticker and buisness cards on the green car LQ Rallyworx custom respray specialist. Barry wuz meant to have put my sticker on the red and white cars but he "forgot"
