My first Ford - Mk1 Escort 1300XL
Going through my photobucket account and found pictures of my old Escort 1300XL
I bought this when I was 15 and was my project to get ready for my first car.
When I turned 17 the car was finished but it was too good to use as an everyday hack so I bought a mk6/7 Escort 1.6 Finesse
The mk1 came with full service history and a proven 38k miles I sold it with 39k on after 3 years - only used it a handful of times.
Anyway heres some pics from when I restored it;
It is still alive and kicking in Yorkshire somewhere my sources tell me so quite fancy saving up and getting it back
