thanks guys,

its only a 1.25 atm, although it is running about 15bhp over standard.

i have big plans thoughh, my plan is to build a 2.1 zetec running t/b's, higher compression and OMEX management

hoping for 250bhp minimum

those brakes must have you nutting the windscreen mate how much did they set you back if you dont mind me asking?
I also have a 1.25 as my second car and they can be nippy little buggers considering they are only a 1.25 zetec, your choice of wheels on your car are spot on mate it looks well nice

i dont know who that is

brakes i got on a special deal, but they're worth over Ł900

yeah they are nippy, mine's runnin around 90bhp whioch isnt bad really for what is essentially a 1.2

got exhaust, filter and chip... was RR'd at 84.7 with an ECU fault, 12 month old oil and the chip wasnt working properly (fitted incorrectly)

basically i plan to get a 1.7 puma exhaust maniold with a decat and a 1.6 intake manifold and t/b for the time being, then just run the engine until it dies, and at which point, the new engine will be built

Nice one mate if you are planning on running this engine till it dies then you are going to be waiting a while unless you dont look after it or you do fooking huge miles with it
Good bhp for the 1.2

Nice looking car.

Did you have to do any work for the stoppers to fit? What are they off of?

brakes are just a 305x28mm ford fitment brembo kit

i had to fit Ford Racing Puma Wheel studs and 12mm of spacers, however its now 15mm spacers being used.

involved putting new wheel bearings and hubs on (my old hubs were screwed)

oh and i had to file down the balancing weights until the cleared the caliper

trials and tribulations of fitting 305x28 discs and 4-pots behind a 16" wheel with only an et42 offset
