Well seeing as Passionford is as good as PassionBMW I thought i'd fire a couple of pics up for you all now to hate another BM owner! haha..

It's a 325i M coupe "Highline" which is just a trim level afaik..
covered only 7654miles when I picked it up

Sales guy was decent as fook, and said he'd throw in some 313M wheels as a 'sweetener' to which I accepted and VERY glad I did, wheels IMO suit it to a T.

note the black grills he had fitted, unsure wether to refit them or not...


Dunno what if anything i'll do to it otherwise, Possibly grills, rear windows tinted and maybe in future a possibly wrap in white...just for a change although I ALWAYS wanted a white E92 with red leather, when I saw this I was actually taken a back that the red interior went with the blue exterior.

Was thinking about the 320 though as atm I have a 2.0t A3 and it is a bit firsty especially being on the dsg box!

Matt, It's REALLY nice to drive especially with the Auto, was very unsure of it until I picked the car up and have to say unless I bought something like a cos I dont think i'd get another manual again! It's probably exact same par as my mates mk5 GTI, can keep up no bother on the M/way but off the lights it leaves him sitting as you just plant it and it goes!
Although it's badged as a 2.5 it's a 3.0, same as the 330i only different ECU, Cams and Inlet isn't variable like the latter, If you can stretch to a 6 cylinder model i'd definately go with that mate, silky smooth! I get around 25-28MPG, but I've not been driving it too slowly, and haven't done any long journey's to see how good it would be (think claimed MPG is 29.1?)

Still got the S1 and corsa for commuting, engine rebuild over winter...get yer tools oot!
also want a YZ125 MX bike...but prob sell the S1 early summer next year and get one then!

Johnny, I didn't get the grills with the car but they're something like Ł60 from BM, v.tempted, the current grills are the only bit of chrome on the car.

Auto is good for everyday driving, but when you wanna have some fun just slip it into sport and press the buttons to go up and down the gears, feel like louis hamilton

Ha, i'm still waiting on the pink hoses Hev, I told you i'd put one on if you bought it (make it a heater matrix one please so it's out of sight )

Tidy car, black grilles look loads better, at least if you get a second set then you can swap them about if you get bored with the look!

Do really like them, the audi gets around 150 miles to Ł40 not sure how that works out low twenties??, but that said going gentle on the paddles rather than the auto box i have had it up and over 40mpg!!

Has to be the m-sport kit on these though, make it look awsome, actually prefer the 19's you had on it, would have been nice in acthrecite when you wrap it!!

i've got a 330i touring e46 with the 5 speed manual box and so far have averaged about 29.8mpg ,so it is possible..

Rich - True enough and can always sell the black ones on to recoup funds....

Matt - I stick Ł20 V power in and I get around 110 miles at an average 26mpg !
non M sport kitted ones do look pretty naff, as for wheels, I must admit the pics dont do them much justice, they have anthracite inserts, but each to there own I won't shoot you for preffering the older ones! haha.

Mick - that's good going on a 330, what horsepower is that one? 256 or something? Mines supposedly 215, would be interesting to stick a 330 ECU in it to see what it done, although prob not much without cams or inlet.

according to the book of lies its either 225 or 231, it's fairly quick but its when its on the motorway that it sort of comes into its own, it cruises effortlessly . as for the m kit mine isn't and tbh looks a little plain , but i'd rather it looked like a 318 and was left alone, way to many jealous twats out there..

200 was on the road for like 6 months u cock! It was either me dying, license being removed from my ownership, someone else dying or it had to go ha, plus it was coming into winter and I didn't want ANOTHER car off the road, it looked like a sack of shit and i'd have ended up doing a resto on that too so out came the spanners and up went the parts f/s! I had fun in it, made my money back and then some and kept my license so Im fairly happy about it, although it was stupidly fun!

Ah, the newer 330's claim 256. yea know what you mean once the revs are up they do go well also agree with it not standing out being a good thing, im shit scared leaving it anywhere incase some jealous twat takes a key down it, i'd be gutted Dad had his 60 plate F10 525 (that's a lot of numbers ) M sport 12 hours before some kid had the metal valve caps off it, ok a petty thing and no damage caused but jeezo! now on tight with pliers, ha.

Aye they ain't cheap! BMW quote 300 a tyre, but camskill do the rears at 260 (255/30/19) and the fronts at 228 (235/35/19) if you stick with the Bridgestone Run flats, but you can get cheaper and some say better closer to 200 a corner. Cheaper also if you ditch the runflats, again people say it handles and rides better which I dont doubt is true, but i'd hate to get stuck anywhere as they don't come with a spare!

Still aint f'king cheap though by any manner of means!
