The rear quarters are electric? Thats news to me. Only ever been in the convertible E46 M3s. Didn't know the Coupe versions also had the rear opening windows.

Nice, lets see the pics please!

One thing that scares me on the rs4 is oil consumption!

Fucking hell Mr Chop yet another car - although it is a mighty fine one so who can blame ya.
I'm gonna start running a book on what happens first, you changing your car again or Dave (YUM) getting another bird.

Nice!

Keep the original wheels though, looks spot on. Actually makes a refreshing change to see a nice example without csl wheels.

does the CSL intake sound much different to running the M3 on a big K&N or similar?
they do sound amazing though, a friend has one with an AC schnitzer exhaust system and it sounds great

Yes.

Youtube is good for the odd video but on track is the best place to hear them.

I have a backbox only on mine and received a couple of black flags at Croft this year for tripping the noise meters.
It was the induction that was doing it though

M3 on the k&n gen 2 induction kit does not sound far off the CSL inlet plenuim! and with a decent cold air feed has been proven not to lose power.
There is a group buy going on at the moment on the m3cutters site, think they are about £200 delivered.

Mike, the Gruppe M kit does nothing for the car, if you want gains the only way to go on the inlet side is something like a Geoff Steel CSL replica inlet plenuim which is about £800 along with the alphaN remap which is about £500, give consistant 20-30hp gains on the standard engine.

True... its freaking awesome. VERY different to when you last drove it.

come over for a go if you want. Its PROPER. feels so so so together now...

and so so so so exciting. Drove it for 6 hours one sunny saturday. Just couldnt get enough of it. .8 bar is fast, controllable and fun. 2.3bar is scary and not fun at all on the road..

Mike. Any plans sunday??? may be taking it to snetterton. Wanna go?

NEGATIVE on the mods though thanks! The cossie is my "money pit" if i need/want one

Agreed on the wheels though but it's very refreshing to see an e46 with immaculate standard 19s!!

Red leather is the only other thing i'd have wanted but black is fine

And i'll happily have my rari even if it is wank!

Keep me posted, if weather is good I'll take a trundle over . Just text me on the day?

You should have received the Tyre-sure monitor several days ago? Some money would be nice .

Looks great after a hit of polish mate, and I'm glad you're enjoying the car. The car's awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it, and I hope you do as well.
When I was looking for one I was always told to buy as well a specced one as I could find, so that's why it's got all the toys! The Grant option is a special bmw individual one, very very rare. And if it had the P_is_for_professor_faggot option then it would have added a grand on to the price.

See when you post the private plate retention down to me, could you stick the air freshener in the envelope too (if you still have it). I just remembered I forgot to grab it.

Cheers.
