Si B's Evo & Danny@Enhanced Perf Escort @ Combe 2010 - VIDEO AT LAST!!!

Big thanks to my brother Sketch for uploading the video footage of myself and Danny @ Enhanced Performance racing around at RS Combe 2010 on Saturday just gone.
Cars on track are Danny:

And myself:
Camera is mounted in my Evo, running 556 bhp on the day. Danny is in the Escort running his 575 bhp map i.e. both cars 50 bhp down on full power!
Notable bits in the video are at:
1:15 You can see black lines on the track as Danny accelerates through 3rd and 4th
1:54 Danny flicking it round the chicane - impressed me how easily it turned compared to my boat like handling in the Evo.
3:40 Fiesta off track excursion
5:45 We get briefly serperated as an Escort Cab gets between us
6:37 A Red Mk2 Escort hangs it out round Camp just in front of us
8:15 Danny drops in behind me to follow me for a lap, but I think his tires have said enough is enough!
For both of us, this was only our second session on track. We were recording 1:18 laps at this stage. Think both of us sorted our lines out much better later on, for me watching it back, it's almost embarassing seeing how badly off line I am for quite a few of the corners
Top top session with Danny, for me this is what track days are about. Finding a person lapping at a similar speed and having a tear up with them. Especially when the person in front is clearly a capable driver giving his car some impressive death!
While I like going fast, I'm not interested in gaining every last second out of the car driving at 110% everywhere risking the car. Racing around in close proximity to someone else doing the same is much more fun

Very impressive, you were making proper ground on the cossie but like you say the way in which the escort could swap from left to right was really fast. Both cars looked great and that evo really does sound the nuts.
Danny needs to get a fire exstiguisher fitted to the outside of the car in case he ignites other cars when overtaking.lol Proper flame thrower

Fair play, nice vid, thanks for postin it up!! Gotta say you look like a very competent driver and that it looks like you don't seem to really be pushin to hard to keep up either. Would like to see you in something thats not yours so you could push it and not worry too much about puttin it in the barrier. Again, fair play!!!

Nice one si well nice vid!!!!
As si has said it was our second sesh and watching it we both drove a bit ragged but was a good tear up and si can drive very well,we both drove better and quicker later in the day but not out together..
After i took the 2 ton of stainless wool out of my side exits and luke downloaded my 616 hp map i done a few 1.16 laps so a lot quicker so on my slicks that the car was set up on i reckon 1.13s as i was on used 225 40 18 888s wich are no where near big enough..
As for someone saying si wasnt trying as hard as he could i think he would soon put you right there!!!lol
