My Escos vs. Scoobies on 15.01.05

There is little mess there. Some pics are from morning worming up - the darker parts on the tarmac surface is ice - that's why this strange driving style and tires, then it's afternoon to evening practise and timed laps. Best two laps Ford Escort RS Cosworth HTT :-DDD (my friend - rallydriver and me, then Subaru Impreza WRX-STI Solberg Edition)

Now I add the link to the TV material on my Escos and Escos in general. It's a shame they didn't do more driving for it - we where supposed to do some high speed driving on snow :-(

Some more...
The Cossie after some laps ->
(Do you notice why my steering wheel shaked badly when driving for some fuel on further down the road? )
Proper surface for a race track (ice + sone snow on it, normal winter tyres)
(This is part of the actuall racetrack (one of two) where Polish touring car championship takes place.)
And here the finisch of the last one - two more shots of me in the Impreza. I don't know if I am going to get any proper sideways pics of the Cossie. Guy who did photos wasn't the best at it and also he has bigproblem withe sending them to them couse he's really rookie with computers :-(

bet you had some real fun I did, I never driven in such snow that it wentactually into the cabin through ventilation and there vere clouds of white smoke from snow melted by hot parts going through ventilation too. I had to stop couple of times because of air filter bloked by snow. In the end the day I discverd big problem with Cossie suspention - my rear springs filled with snow which melted from heat fro shocks and exhaust and then frozen. HAd to do 200km drive home with no rear suspention at all
Still lots and lots of fun. I discovered that standard drivetrain (only uprated centra VC) isn't the best for quick laps on snow - too much oversteer, rally Impreza was fun but no so easy to drive. Legacy Turbo was THE CAR for the conditions. Strange but it really was the best of the free and I driven it for the first time. You culd really give it big right foot even in those ice and snow on top conditions.

Nope. It's the son of one of the instructors in rally school i "attend"...
He's 16 or so and probably would probably blast half of the people on this forum on the track :-D It must be great to be 16 and already have driven most of the slow and fast cars from Fiat Seicento to Mazda RX-8, Cossie, all kinds of Scoobies and proper Gr.A Evos.

Recently driven 2WD Saph in bad conditions. You need quick hands but can be alot of fun In fact in my Escos during whole day I only few times blibed full throttle. Just not enough drip to do it with stock VC's and no front LSD :-( I could do that in Legacy Turbo but I couldn't do it in rally Impreza too.
