Off Roading in the Landy.
Not sure if anyone on here off roads but thought i'd throw up some of my off roading experiences. Got a 300tdi Land Rover discovery about 2 years ago, first outing roll it on its roof. Getting the hand of it and starting to test the truck, starting to go a little mad when out but its bloody good fun knowing you can ram up a massive hill and not worry about scratching the paint. Heres some pics.
Best modification on it...... 170db train horn, scares the crap out of people going across level crossings.
Getting wet feet
Nice and Clean after a day at Tixover
Dragging the winch on the bottom
Doesn't look like much but the diff lock wasn't in
And then this happened
Only did minor damage, well bending the rear bodywork, luckily no chassis damage
Got it repaired and off to Kirton for the weekend
Looks a lot tamer then it actually felt in the driving seat
Any one else off road on here if so get some pictures up!

What tyres are you using on the Disco?
Mate of mine isn't sure what ones to go for.
Think he swaying toward Sahara's as he still has to use it on the road.
He has a V8 Disco with 2" lift, Custom made bumper with winch

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Love it! Good to see somebody using a 4x4 for what they are meant for a change!
Great to see them jacked up and dirty. I'd love to give it a go, closest I've got is driving accross a wet and muddy/rutty field in a new Rangey Vogue. It was pretty good though, plenty of grip and put a smile on my face.
