i love it but ive never been a big fan of the cut out front bumper showing the intercooler, but each to there own.
rims and the colour and lovely

 

i like it - if u got a full width i/c then u might as well show it off!

oh & there is also the added bonus that it serves a purpose - removing the bumper must aid the cooling!!

Looks fuckin tits mate i always wanted to fit S1 archs but keep the S2 skirts, think it looks alot better than just putting the whole S1 kit on. not keen on the cut out bumper, bit out of date but each to their own.

If you want pop-outs then make sure you either get green tint pop-outs, or get bronze tinted front windows, screen and rear screen else it will look shat....

And you'll never get a set of S1 arches to mate up to S2 skirts like that...

But on the whole, nice

Agree on the pop out rear's. Can still get the glass from fords, rubbers and hinges are hard to get hold of..... S1 kit, will be very hard, just ask Lewis. But.... He has proven it can be done.

 

Can't get the rubbers, hinges, clips from Ford anymore - dicontitued part. As for Grren tint quarters - you try and find some they were never a replacement part,and only featured on some German S2's. Ask James Raby, he's the man in the know about how many green tint quarters are left in the country

S1 kits are easier to find since all the glass is offered as replacements. Doubt you will get em from Ford nowadays, but they are redily available from windscreen replacement compaies such as Autoglass, Autowindscreens etc, jsut be preparred to pay for em. Best bet it to find someone breaking a S1 and take all the glass in one go...

My mate used to work for auto glass and could get the green tint opening rears as he got 2 for his escort cossie.

Oh, and I got 2 greent tint rear 1/4 glass's for my S2 off of Pete H on this BB. He got em new from fords, I got a finis if u wanna try?

looks really sweet like that... i have seen s1 arches on a red s2 and it looks great, one of my fave mods but its quite rare..... dont think you should cut the front out though.....

 

I work for Autoglass, and I ca nget green tint opening 1/4's.... but they are exceptionally expensive, even to me, and VERY hard to get hold of....

 

Not really a fan of cut out bumpers normally, but it works well on your car. Rims look

that look is well heavy but when smoothing the inserts in the rear bumper only do the top one i did both on mine and it made the bumper look to thin it was a big mistake

 

are you planning on keeping the S2 skirts? it'd be a hard job but would look alot better than S1 skirts imo. when i can afford it i plan to do it with mine.
about the opening rears how easy is it to get hold of green glass cos i wouldn't want the bronze. green looks quality when the cars wet.

 

Danny, I don't know about the s1 kit, maybe would not go down that road really. About the glass, you can still get it from Ford, I think it is around £50 a side, and can probably dig out the finis for it if u want.

 

its alright mate i haven't got the funds at the mo, just a future mod i plan to do

 

i shud be keeping the S2 skirts with the S1 arches...hopefully Dan might be able to help me out there (will talk to u on messenger )
