You can make some amazing stuff without photoshop 
i just got really bored so jumped on xbox and took these:

haha, advice is goooood 
these took bout 10mins to do all of em, and this is the first time ive ever used photo mode so im happy.
if anyone want a certain car on a certain track il do it, just ask on here

quick question I have just bought this game do you have to design all your cars in game or can you download a template to your pc so you can photoshop them ?

you can design your own in game or you can buy tuned cars off storefront if youve got live but you dont need photoshop you use the camera settings on 'photo mode' all you need is xbox live to upload to computer.

if you havent already, you have to download the extra car pack you get with the game, theres a leaflet or something in the box about it (its on the marketplace aswell)
then once its installed, when you choose a track its 'benchmark high speed ring' or something, one of the first, the square layout is the best
