i think if you put sticky tyres on it and launch it at the pod it will end in one lane closed for you to pick up all the teeth from the box .

but ive heard mixed stories on them box's, some people say they are the best (usually normal people like myself) and most knowledgable tuners/specialists state they are not that much stronger than standard, only the diff is strong (ATB), cogs are the same even when peened and the bearings are not that much bigger when uprated. Ive bought a CTS Stage 2, im beggining to think I should go ST170 box???? I will probably end up driving it like a wuss anyhow.lol

I think this car will have a bit too much power low down for this box but I bet once its up to 40-50mph it would be a serious road warrior. Mine was 200 before I stripped it and that seemed really quick, cant really imagine what near on 400 feels like, Well Done lads

sunny ran the cts stg 2+ that sheared 5th then had it rebuilt but tbh that wouldnt have lasted long if it wasnt for the fire

Sunny did a 126mph down the 1/4 at 1.2bar boost if i remember correctly!!! lol

again, im sure he was on a CTS Stg2 box...and i dont remember anyone using the ST170/MTX boxes way back then...dont forget his car was about what...5years ago now?

through 9boxes,imo ib5`s are shite (they don`t like high rev`s)

i can vouch for that my wheel bearings need changing every 3 months at 240 bhp so god knows wot urs are like thats mental power tho bet u cant get traction until 4th gear and i wudnt even dare putting my foot down round a corner
