Rally GB 09
yep more rally pics from me
Spent the first day at a very wet and windy Rhondda stage, saw some good action with Loeb, Solberg and Ostberg dargging their cars through a ditch on the exit of one corner.
Then it was off to service where Mum had got us VIP accesss to the Ford Service area! Was amazing to see the cars being worked on so closely. Everything is done so quickly but calmly. The PR guy told us that each end of day service costs them £75,000 and thats with out anything else that needs changing like the differentials that Hirvonen had, no wonder teams are dropping out of WRC so fast!
Zip ties on a half million pound rally car
New carbon clutch, changed in 3 minutes.
Me with Ford driver Mikko Hirvonen, nice bloke but he wasnt in the best of moods with the world championship slipping away.
And the Citreon area which was chaos compared to Ford.
Sunday we watched from Walters Arena on the Rehola stage.
