this is a before pic, also worth a mention is that its the same header tank just after a lot of hard work cleaning it!!

hi twins, i started by putting it through the dishwasher,but i found the best way was to put some gravel in it. the small stuff no bigger than 10mm stuff with some water and washing up liquid. the next bit was the hard part, try and seal the holes up then shake the gravel around till your arms are about to fall off!!
this knocks off all the shity bits that stain the tank, it just scrapes it off.
hope that helps, it does take time but its well worth it

with the header tank, try using pink antifreeze when your done, as it seems to make the tank look brighter, rather than using the blue stuff

looks sweet mate very clean i just done my header tank i used thick bleach and boilde water over night shaking it up a few times then 2 days of thin bleach and boiled water with limescale remover and came up like new
u can also use rice lol sounds daft but works

AJC i bought them from carbontec a while back, as i believe they burnt down and haven't reopened

i did shake it for quite a while, did it over a couple of days otherwise you get bored!!
BAM S2 your bays looking good, i take it you couldn't get a square post battery? i think i might of got one of the last ones and for half price!!
