I'm well aware most of us on here have modified cars, some with big bhp, but im wondering how many of us have cars that look totally standard but with big engines and big bhp. for example, a fiesta in brown with steel wheels and a wacking great turbo engine in it, any make, but it must look standard, so what have ya got..????????

just took a basic 1.6 gsi rover 200 (1989 model). got given a 1996 honda accord aerdeck which look good but found the chassis to be twisted, found ma way into a 48 hour sprint and took the engine out of the honda, stripped off the box, brakes, and wheels and fitted them to the rover took a couple of months to get it fitted in perfect, runs like a brute. runnig around 150-160hp. But the engine might have to be swapped out tho ![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
. a bit to much thrashing has resulted in piston slap and a snapped timing belt. Corrently got a 1989 2.0 honda accord engine to fit in. should be fitted by the time i get home ( a mate of mine swapping the engines about).
Am looking for a 2.2 honda vtec engine![Wink](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
if anyone has one sat around.
Am also looking for a bigger engine for ma escort auto

i think this connect is just what i asked for. on steels looking perfectly standard. ya see in my day the lads had rotten old capris with big spec pintos, we didn't spend anything on the outside, just the running gear. and Mk2 escorts with big spec engines yet the outside was battered on some of them.. traffic light grand prix was great with the beemer drivers. lol.. anyone else got a nice looking very quick standard looking car.. i'm loving this thread
