Mental Anglia
Has anybody got any pics and specs of the mental red anglia that was in front of the classic ford stand at ford fair?

There are some in christian and beckys thread.
The blue one was far more awesome though, it made gallachers focus look mundane by comparison!

Indeed, fell in love with that tube framed/sequential/cossie'd masterpiece. Loads of LOVELY touches on it!

No, didnt have my camera with me.
Was sequential paddle shift gearbox, inboard shocks, tubular everything, harvey gibbs built rs500 motor with nitrous.
Truely epic it was!
Was sat nearly finished on the elite transmission stand, really awesome bit of kit, I dont think Ive ever seen more custom engineering all on one car!

Probably sounds terrible but i don't think i was lucky enough to see that 1. Im sure i would have fallen for it to by the sounds of it though.

Wish I had taken some on my phone as I didnt have my camera with me, but I didnt bother as I just assumed I would log onto here to find loads of decent pics of it anyway.
Was the best car I saw at ford fair by a country mile!

I love the alternator layout - is that somesort of UJ that connects the crank & alty?

Yeah its a flexible joint that joins the engine to the alternator.

the blue one chip is on about is going to be nuts !! the guy also has a 450bhp yb anglia with nitrous, 6 speed sequential ect !
im gonna hopefully get the chance to go in the new space framed one whilst being mapped !! fingers crossed !

All three cars in the pics look incredible. Makes me want an anglia. Also makes me think id wish i'd seen the blue 1. That bare mental 1 is insane 2. Is that a bdt engine?

The Car on the front cover is owned by Dave Bun and is a 330hp set up.
