Custom Front Mount Intercooler in the bumper
Stainless steel pipework to intercooler

NGK cold spark plugs
Bailey dump valve
Greddy Profec B boost control unit.
Battery to boot conversion
Ram air air filter and custom silicone hose

-6psi when greddy is turned off

cant say im a fan of rovers, but yours does look very nice mate, my bro has a non turbo version of this and yours looks very mint bet you scare a few rsturbo's too with that hp

hi mate, i think its pretty nice , i like the rover turbos, and seeing as @ TOTB2 they dominated the RST's i dont see why people cant not like them


my mate mark is having a conversion done with an engine from the same as yours into one of these, he went out in this car a few days back and WANTED the conversion done ASAP, this is the car and engine, he has the same car but in Red should have the turbo engine in today, (tuesday 30th Nov)

Tis a nice conversion, just needs tidying up in the bay.

Cheers for all ya comments guys. Oh and i am competing for a space at TOTB this year.

Just got the management, injectors, and head work to do, then its boost up to near 20psi and , fingers crossed, 300bhp.

Tell me though, are you suffering head gasket problems cos I worked on loads of these (turbo and non turbo) while I was doing my apprenticeship and they seem to blow the head gasket for a passtime, was constantly putting gearboxes in em too.

They are 197, supposedly standard, but lucky to get 190bhp on the rollers when standard.

The headgasket isnt that prone to blowing as people think, the K series engine, as in the 214, 216 and 218 blows ALOT! This car and all turbos and 2 litres are fitted with the T series engine and this isnt as bad.

As for the gearbox. hmm lets see, ive broken two diffs, one driveshaft, one main shaft cog! and had it redone twice for peace of mind. Yep the gearboxes are SHITE!

i like it mate, had a few round my way when i had my calibra turbo. we always met up for racers
