Hi Max,
If I do make much in the way of changes I'm going to keep all the original parts. I've actually been seriously thinking about just dropping it down a bit but keeping the standard alloys, because I know exactly what you're saying and I actually rather like it with the standard look. I suppose that's why I asked about the 18" versions, because it would still have a reasonably standard look but the wheels would fill the arches a bit better.

I personally dont like them at all lowered on standard wheels, theyve got to be standard ride height!
Your not going to put a push button start in this one are you?
ive seen some fitted to an escos and they just dont look right. The dish on them is more flat, a bit like the 15" GTi rims that look like escos rims. I would leave the std ones on it as they have a much nicer dish.

I like them lowered a bit, to me on the standard shocks they look too high and the wheels look too small. Just personal opinion. What I was looking for was a kit that looked like the originals, i.e. black rather than bright yellow so I could lower it but it would look standard. I did look at AVO kits but several people have slated them.
Yes, definitely going to fit the S2000 starter button, one of my fave mods ever and done properly (which it will be) it looks like a factory fit. I'll see if I can find a pic of the one I did in the other car as it's the same.
I do quite like them, the only thing I would say is they look very shiny, whereas the standard ones aren't so much. I wonder how hard wearing they are?

That car gets driven proper and i mean proper by the owner he's had them on since late 2007 early 2008.
I've seen it on your last one, to me it just looks maxpowerish and not something i'd personally do to an escort cosworth,, but its your car and you like it

Oh well, each to their own mate, the Focus RS has one of course, and I think that looks more Max Powerish than this one and it's actually an original Honda S2000 part. Anyway, it's all individual choice. I'm fitting a new stereo because it didn't have the original stereo in anyway, and a new gear lever gaiter because that was worn. That's about it for the interior I think. I was thinking about leather trim but to be honest I rather like the cloth, and when leather gets old it looks manky, I do like it when it's mint though. I know they're always more desirable with leather, not that that matters particularly because I'm planning to keep it long term. We shall see on that one.
they look brilliant, took long enough to make em!!
center caps dont look like they fit perfectly but nice rims.
they need to make s1 rs turbo alloys in bigger sizes, they would sell like hot cakes.
