theres an old Landy in our bodyshop, it belongs to a mate of ours who restored it and now it just lives there. No idea what it is tho, its a 1954 iirc.

love it mate, would love a series landy, i know people who use them reliably everday but i just can't be arsed with it if i need to be spannering frequently. Will have one when i can afford a money no object build as a toy.
Nice as yours is battle scars and all, have you got any pics of the lightweight just in one shot?

I love this old girl
Every time i look at your pics i notice something else,
first the hub lockers & Wellar 8's
then rear cross member
And now i notice the rerouted exhaust through the old PTO drive hole
and also the blanked off fuel filler and external fuel tank in the buck![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)

Don't see many lightweights about!
A mate spends all his time rebuilding landys and selling them - not for profit, for fun. Apparently the lightweights are a bugger, you have to make panels by modding normal series parts.
IIA is my personal favourite of all the landys.
Why the Essex lump though? Surely the 21/4 landy lump didnt die on you did it??
