Just though I would post some pics of my other motoring love asside from fast fords!







Spot the engine make!!!



and a few to prove I use it as intended!



























Its not quite as fast as my cossie but its just as much fun

arrh just noticed the front hub lockers also

I think out of all the cars i have had i still have the biggest smile on my face when im driving my 110 defender!

Thats a quality truck that!Quality engine that 3l essex! Apart from my sierra stage rally car thats what i drive except its a custom chassised coil sprung `72 swb s3 pickup with 3.5efi range rover engine box and axles!

theres an old Landy in our bodyshop, it belongs to a mate of ours who restored it and now it just lives there. No idea what it is tho, its a 1954 iirc.

best one - as in best due to its busyness, its IB so same to use as passion ford with lots of pics

love it mate, would love a series landy, i know people who use them reliably everday but i just can't be arsed with it if i need to be spannering frequently. Will have one when i can afford a money no object build as a toy.

Nice as yours is battle scars and all, have you got any pics of the lightweight just in one shot?

I love this old girl

Every time i look at your pics i notice something else,

first the hub lockers & Wellar 8's

then rear cross member

And now i notice the rerouted exhaust through the old PTO drive hole

and also the blanked off fuel filler and external fuel tank in the buck

Don't see many lightweights about!

A mate spends all his time rebuilding landys and selling them - not for profit, for fun. Apparently the lightweights are a bugger, you have to make panels by modding normal series parts.

IIA is my personal favourite of all the landys.
Why the Essex lump though? Surely the 21/4 landy lump didnt die on you did it??
