My ST200 so far.....
i must admit i havent posted here since i had my RS2000 which seems like a long ole time ago.
thought id update where im at with the car i bought to replace the RS2k.
Its a 1999 mondeo ST200.ive had it nearly 2 years and set about making it a little more personal with some ideas and touches etc.
Owning and caring for this car also started me off detailing and paint correcting on my days off from my full time job,so ive tried to get as close to 100% correction on the paint as possible.
the current mod and tweak list is as follows.note not a lot of performance related mods due to the horrendous cost of modding a V6 engine lol.
Stainless engine bay blingige such as pas, water header, strut tops, upper engine cover, lower valance cover, brake reservoir, headlamp, etc etc you get the idea lol.
carbon fibre lower engine cover from topshop carbon in the states.
metal water pump.
egr blanked off.
heat wrap for irmc unit to stop it cooking.
k&n panel filter.
samco sections and coloured cable coving sections to tidy it up and add come colour.
blackeyed head lamps
seat leon cupra - R front splitter
team dynamics monza RS 18" rims
300mm front brake conversion, calipers painted gold.
P.I lowering springs approx 35mm
lexus style rear lamps smoked back very dark by myself.
mongoose full system.
main centre section decat pipe
side mouldings removed
ST150 style side stripes in black.subtle enough to be seen if you look but not lairy.
re badging on sides and rear using diesel ST letter for sides and stainless steel black inlayed ST badge for rear.
ally pedals.
leather ST embroidered seat belt covers.
blue lit footwells and blue festoon bulbs for interior lights front, rear and boot.
still got lots of bits id like to do but looking to see thru this years shows and then perhaps move on to a ST220 and start a new project with that.
heres some pics recent-ish ones

many thanks for all the replies.good to see a lot of familair faces, have to catch up with a lot of you lol.
i use mostly dodo juice products.managed to get a sponsorship arrangement for this years show season which was unexpected to be fair.
polishing with the meguiars G220 machine polisher with lime prime on a finishing pad to strip back and add a glaze like quality to it.
then 2 coats of supernatural wax followed by zaino Z8 finishing spray.
a lot of work, but it gets me away from the misses and the nipper for a few hours lol

i think i just got a bit bored really.i knew that it would take a good 2-3 grand to really work thru the next level and even then it felt wrong for some reason.
buying the mondeo co-incided with my missus falling pregnant so we would have needed the 4 doors and bigger boot anyway.
i decided recently that ill see this show season thru and then sell up and move onto an ST220 lol.its always bonkers to finish and then start again but i think its a very good platform to start working with and i have a million ideas for the 220
