Update on my S2
howdy all, got her out and gave a good wash and polish! picked up a tip from the concours boys... mix the autoglym super resin polish with extra gloss in 50/50 ratio. VERY pleased with the results! also put standard hoses back on. all comments welcome 
this is off to mike rainbird to be re-leathered
you cansee i had the catches for the opening rear quarters chromed here
she's up to 44'000 miles now so time to go away for the winter and i can get started on that underside

yea concours for me! gonna give the bufty route a try and see what happens! need another rs so i dont want to keep driving this one though!!

yea a couple of peeps have said that! it does look gash but not my doing! ill take it off when i got a nice big ic to fill its place!

nimrodraceing, ill be entering modified post 81 concourse, the guy your on about, has he won for like the last 3 years? red s2...? ive seen it in the flesh and it is gorgeous but hopefully i can have mine up to scratch for the summer

yea, saw your car at the classic performance ford show at stoneleigh park, got a way to go till mines anywhere near yours! be good to have a chat with you about your underside if your at any of the shows early next year, central day is april 17th i think

That show - was the best the car has ever looked,,,,, and can only get better.
central day - on that date,is the 1st one of the year,your right there.

no!!! i love the spots! didn't like the blue hoses in the red bay, im gonna go for a black, chrome and red theme, plus had to get rid of that dump valve! was fun at first but soon got on my nerves! do agree about the mesh tho!

Yea, see what your saying about the dumper, I just got a chrome blanking plug in mine Gonna say, dont go back to rubber hoses from silicone, u may find they not like the boost good luck being a bufty!
