Default Old flying photos

I've been spending some time looking through all the old photos my dad took whilst he was based in Oman during the late 70's and early 80's.

Some of his photos were taken for the Sultan Of Oman and King Hussein Of Jordan, one in particular that the Sultan has in his palace we have a copy of but I can't find the negative for it so I cant scan it in as its too big

All I know about the photos is what my mum knows but if anyone has a interest in them I have literally thousands he took so I'll happily post some more up.

All of the photos were taken by him from the cockpit of the Hunter he flew or just whilst he was off duty.

Anyway hope you like them all

Plane was shot down in 1972 which is a bit odd.. I thought Vietnam ended about 1970... maybe they give planes the same number when one is lost or something.

The last Phantom to be in service with the US Navy was 1987.

Up for those that like this sort of thing.

Tomorrow is 25 years since my dad was killed so I've spent the day looking through lots of old photos which I'm going to scan in over the next week or so ( although I mean it this time ) Lots of great ones though which I'm sure you will like.
