Ha, that's doing retirement right! Looked like he was having fun in it yesterday, though I saw it pick up a few war wounds during the day!

Well the Beetle is surely the 2WD car to beat in the Retros, so I hope you can find a bit more speed to challenge Harrold!

Yeah, I know Shirley has put a lot of work into the Retro Championship, really pleased to see the entries on the rise again this year as a lot of the cars that were first in the series seem have disappeared.

Car looked great out on track! Hopefully you have less issues at Lydden (I assume you are going?)

For the World Rallycross? Yeah, will definitely be there on the Sunday, should be there on the Saturday as well if I get my finger out and get a hotel booked!

Excellent, car isn't too badly damaged then?

Nice of David to collect all your panels for you as well: did he give them back or keep them as trophies?

That's good, was afraid that the damage was going to be more severe.

Found a local motocross club that runs events throughout the year, so got my first motorsport fix of 2020 earlier than I expected!

I was there! Did take some pictures, but I haven't even taken them off the camera yet!

I was also at the one in December, though I only got one shot of the Stratos before it retired:

Ah, it a driveshaft you broke in December? I wondered what had happened.

I haven't seen the March 14th date officially confirmed yet, but I am hoping to be there.

Was a rather damp conclusion to the Lydden Winter Rallycross, glad I went though as I think it is going to be the only bit of motorsport for a good few months.

First two rounds of the British Rallycross Championship were held at Lydden at the end of last month. Great entry and some excellent racing, plus I also got a few pictures I am pleased with:
