Awesome looking bit of kit. I knew I had seen it somewhere before when I saw your first picture, but I couldn't remember where until yesterday: this is the car now being used by John Cross in the Retro Rallycross Championship, isn't it?
Yeh its his retirement present to himself lol . we built it in around 4 months which isnt bad at all
Great pics the guy in the 6r4 is Rob Gibson his Mrs Shirley runs the retro rallyx .Great people
Yeah, I know Shirley has put a lot of work into the Retro Championship, really pleased to see the entries on the rise again this year as a lot of the cars that were first in the series seem have disappeared.
I was there running the stratos we got a second overall and one the second heat and the clutch packed up and the last race was done with a leaky rad so not bad first time out

Nice of David to collect all your panels for you as well: did he give them back or keep them as trophies?
That's good, was afraid that the damage was going to be more severe.

Ah, it a driveshaft you broke in December? I wondered what had happened.
I haven't seen the March 14th date officially confirmed yet, but I am hoping to be there.

Was a rather damp conclusion to the Lydden Winter Rallycross, glad I went though as I think it is going to be the only bit of motorsport for a good few months.
First two rounds of the British Rallycross Championship were held at Lydden at the end of last month. Great entry and some excellent racing, plus I also got a few pictures I am pleased with:
