ive got aero catches fitted to mine, IMO theyre the best looking catches out there, and mine are key lockable too so good against thieving scum, also means ive been able to get rid of the standard bonnet release etc.
i cant add pics at the mo as my rs is in the body shop for a bit of a freshen up etc, ill add some though as soon as i get her back.

In my opinion I’ve never liked them they just spoil the look of a nice bonnet.

are those bonded in Twins?
I can see the small screws for the actual pin but can't see anything holding the carbon 'cut out' in?

Fitted mine when my bonnet catch caught on the IC, but least they got a function. Could be worse....e.g M3 mirrors

They serve a purpose, So nothing wrong with them. I had a bonnet come up on me due to a wanky Ford bonnet catch... Its cheaper, and easier to fit a bonnet pin, than a windscreen/bonnet/scuttle panel/dented roof
I did have pictures somewhere!
