Default First wash and clay of the ibiza

And have to say, very impressed with how clean its come up, Lee outside polishing it now, managed to get half of the interior we got yesterday put in, and it now moves so thats good, the clocks are on the steering column until the wiring is sorted out later on in the week no point trying to fit them properly as means taking dash in and out and suspect its gonna be a pain in the arse..



still not sure whether to replace the mesh at the front of bumper or not, i quite like the raw look,

interior as it stands now..

looks like a bit of a weapon fella

whats all this clay buisness about, i bought a meguires clay kit from halfords a while back but havnt got round to using it

is it just like normal polishing ?

its like a big bar of blutack, it removes all the contaminants, tar etc from the paint making it like glass smooth then you polish afterwards

Go for it, they seem a good car to get power from and stock internals are good for quite a bit of power

i need to go down the bigger turbo....air to air IC, manifold route to get that kinda power outta mine i cant be arsed theres a 360bhp ibiza for sale on pistonheads for 6 grand...i think....really looking at getting one, whats the handling like?

good with r888s and coilovers, lad we got it off said theyre pretty crap before he fitted both, seems to grip like fuck but prob down to tyres more than anything

ahhhh good times - i remember when the owner took that to a show back in 04, when the work had just been done. He was f**kin pissed that it didnt make mid 13s back then.

It hasnt been done for 4yrs mate, only 2????

last run he did in it was a 13.0 @ 119mph
