My 22k Mercury Grey s2 RST
Some pics of my s2 i bought last week. Car has a GENUINE 22k as shown in the pics. 2 tyres on the back are the originals from new and have plenty tread still on them, though some slight cracks round the edges tough youd expect that from 14 year old tyres! The wheel in the boot has never been out im told from the previous owner. I have original stereo, steering wheel, side repeaters and indicators to complete standard but i like it the way i bought it. Sorry about the big pics! Any comments would be appreciated

Thanks for all your kind comments folks! davS2, yes i did buy it in Edinburgh and yes it did have clear rears. I got home about 11pm from buying it and was out at 7am the next morning putting the originals back on! Didnt like the clears too much. And mattbibs yes i drive it everyday to my work (only 2 miles away) as being only 19 i cant afford to run the car AND a runabout! I will add some more pics when i get it all polished up and some under bonnet shots as i notice i havent added any!

Anyway, car looks lovely, bin the clear indicators, makes it look tacky mate
Lush bit of kit
Only real piece of advice, those tyres need to go - very dangerous to use on your car, brittle and pretty much useless now as been subjected to all kinds of weather conditions
I wouldn't use them at all, no bloody way!

Just turned 20 last month. I didnt have any NCB either. Only thing is with that company, I rang and got a quote, that was fine, then I rang back to take the insurance out and they said summet about having to have 1 years NCB for you to be able to get insurance cos I was 19. I said that I had already got a quote and they didnt say anything about that when I rang the first time. They said that their policy had just changed, but because I had got the quote before they changed it they would honour it I would just give them a ring and try it, see what they say
