Focus given its first wax!!
Evening people.
Went all bufty with the focus on the outside over the past three days consisting of Poorboy's shampoo wash, Poorboys Super Swirl Remover 2 and Meguiars Mirror Glaze wax. This took a hell of a lot of elbow grease to achieve but I'm extremely pleased with the results. I changed the steering wheel back to standard as well and think it looks much better inside now. The pics are from my digi cam but because it got massively overcast, it doesn't shine and then it started to chuck it down just after I finished waxing
Anyway, here she is!

Well the SSR I have is SSR 2 which is the intermediate one out the range. Removed a few scuffs I had on my rear bumper which was pleasing and prior to the waxing, already gave the car a silky smooth finish anyway. I'm no detailer by any means but on my car there are absolutely zero swirl marks on it anywhere.
The real test is when I do the BMW next week especially since it is in mystic blue and there are evident swirl marks on it. I'd say it's well worth buying imo and my cousin who works for a bodyshop came round the other day and gave me a few tips and a bit of advice about the strength of the stuff, especially on a silver car, it doesn't really matter that it's ssr 2 and not 1 as some people think ssr 2 is too strong. He said it really is fine to use on any car so went over the whole car with SSR 2 before I waxed it and it's come out shiney as.
Will report next week how effective it was removing swirl marks on the beemer. Also, I did it all by hand, no machines used!
