Default My D reg S1 and my D reg S2

Here's some pics of my new car (Series One: white) sat with my old car (Series Two: red). As you can see they are both D reg's. The series 1 is one of around a dozen D reg Mk3 RS Turbos left and was one of the last made. Used to belong to MJC off here until the weekend. The series 2 is one of the first Mk4 RS Turbos made (..and is now up for sale due to purchase of the S1)

Depends on how much you are thinking...they are a selling point for the car. They are proper quads btw & not covers: Cibie lights units.

tbh - if i was selling the car as a hole i would change back to standard as i think it would increase the number of people interested in the car. Not many peeps seem to like twin headlights on mk4s.

I simply want them to remove the inner bulbs and get some decent airflow into the engine bay

Price... name it!! i've even got a set of mint headlight protectors you can have as well.

Been after these for years

Lol...this was my next mod with them whether it was on this car or a 'newer' S2. Take out the inner n/s spotlamp & put in some tubing directing the airflow to the filter.
Other replies edited.Cheers.

It only took that time b'cos i don't like the morette 'full' light conversion, and no-one else was advertising this type were you keep your original indicators.

I'm in Lincolnshire btw.

the S1 is a minter, i'll look forward to seeing it again at the shows

i'd also like to see a pic of the leather interior in your red S2, especially the rear bucket seats

and i'd sell the headlights, agree you get more interest with standard jobbies

This topic was deleted by one of the mods. I think this was b'cos I was asked about my S2 and I replied & it may have looked like a 'for sale' advert? This isn't the case. I don't know DanS..he is just asking me questions & I am replying to him. There was nothing sinister about it & I'm not trying to get a 'free' sale from the site. I have apologised above saying that this was accidental. Petrucci has re-instated the topic. Thanx. I've also edited my replies keeping the bits not related to the S2 sale..

Apologies, again, for how the topic may have looked. It was un-intentional.

Classic insurance Roy...it's the way forward. Don't use any NCB's neither (but don't acrue any each year tho). HIC & Adrian flux will both do anything over 15yrs old...even if production didn't stop until after that. It's the actual car, not the model, that they go on. Not sure on other companies tho.

As far as I'm aware, they are just standard RST seats retrimmed by a previous owner. They had the door cards trimmed to match as well. They do look wicked in the 'flesh'. Very eye-catching.

Rallye News had it down as a 'maybe still existing' in the copy I have from when the car was featured.
