Default Mallard escos- amature pic advise needed

hi

i have a Sony DSC-H1 cybershot, way to complicated for its own good, and far to many variables on it, you need a degree to use it i reckon.

anyway ive learnt a few techniques using it, but thats all

anyone got one of these, i just want to be able to take clearer pictures, as its a bit hit and miss.

i messed around yesterday with in on my driveway, tryint to play with the sky line and sunlight, but not much luck. the first one i took on my honeymoon in january, and for me im well mpressed.

taken from our beach room

and buy day

not when it comes to cars on lost. anyone got any advise on say angels and how to make the best use of light on a digital?

this looked amazing in the flesh but the camera doesnt show it! what am i doing wrong?

and this one

this was amazing on viewfinder, and was on tropical/sun light setting but again not quite right?

anyway anyhelp is appreciated, as id like to take some decent shots before i sell the cossie.

(i have a habit of getting bored and moving on. restored all these in my spare time over last year) only had cossie 3 months and im thinking what i can get next

The Dbs is my fatherinlaws, but after the work i put into it i keep joking with him its half mine. i put it back to its original colour. just in time for wedding

all the rest are mine. got an amazing picture of my landrover as well somewhere. there was a massive pile (50tons) of road chippings in the woods to the back of mine, got a pic onto with the lights on. will dig it out. believe it or not i love my landy more than the cossie

my mate tried to catch the sunset with my series one, but again the depth is missing

and look at the blue
this is how it looks

but this yesterday let it down, how do i make colours stronger?

Default 1949

cant do that, i sold it to buy the cossie

anyway its back in original colour. bordeaux red

same as this (less gay white walls)

was gna put a scoobie engine in it as they bolt straight in!!!

but as it was a 1949, with cable brakes, no brake light, smeaphore sticks/ no indicators, 6volt, 24 bhp motor. i decided to keep it stock. bear in mind a stock restored 1949 standard (no chrome model) sold for $50,000 in january in america.

wish id have kept the Mk1 as well and cossied it would you believe i bought it for Ł600 last year!! infact same bloke who sold my the cossie
i did it in ermine white took me 2 months in my spare time

Maria its in ipswich, keep an eye out, id love to see how she is in her new ownership.

incidently on monday in sudbury i saw my first ever car. bought it when i was 14, and sold it whe i was 18. not a swd saff but you could still get the back end out

this was my first ever respray. (well i did a tractor at 12 but that was brushed)

Man i miss this car, so many memories and smoke outs .
i remember being parked up in it with munchies eating chocolate and cold asda pasta in mayonase (we forgot to get a plascit fork), it was raining heavy and my mate had actually accidently knocked on the hazards and wipers, creating a strobe like effect. for 10 mins we were convinced the car was herbie and was driving us home

tho i did look like this at the time so what can i say

how we got away with all that i dont know. blacked windows as well

anyway ive had no advise in photography yet??, its turning in to an autobiography

hey, yeh will take a look at some of yours. i dont want a master class, just be nice to be able to take some intresting angled shots.

buy the bug i take it u mean the 1949?

well it was bordeaux red in 1949, some time in 60's was painted gloss black. i bought the body only, the last owner was going to cut a sunroof in it to make a 32e ww2 replica army car, so he experimented with different paints on it.

as said i was gna slap it on a 70's chassis and shoehore in a scoobie engine. but i managed to find the original chassis for the body up in scotland (the vintage vw moves in small circles) and reunited the two halves which had been apart for over 20 years. hence why i restored it stock!

if u mean the mk4 its a limited edition Gt tdi in jazz blue 130 bhp and 60+mpg. wife wants me to chop it for a mk5 r32, not with her driving, she makes shumacker look slow!!!
