finally on the road and all finished, not gonna break any land speed records. but it is a good toy on the road, good for embarrising new audi and BMW drivers lol

it loves corners, gaz coilies and the LSD box are brilliant on a little FWD car

i stay with fezz to about 60, we had a roll on from 60+ in 3rd and he pulled one me at about 85-90.

not bad for a standard engine.

yeah i will insure it and bring it wednesday, jsut need to try and sort it out, its a bitch to get out of 4th sometimes. need to try a linkage first.

as said looks nice, aggression is good.

 

i would love to stick steelies on it, but am not sure they'd fit over the cossie brakes.

if i wanted it that sleeper i would of bought a popular plus or an lx or whatever in the first place.

considering there 90 horse standard on a good day lol go no where and dont handle. i think it is quite sleeper when people look at it and jsut think its an si.

played with new shape BMW320 coupes, starlet turbos, thottle bodied escort, lol an it does well i love it.

getting stripped and caged soon ready to go on track.

Get it caged!! After my 2.0 conv i've just had a cage in my car aswell and i've got rid of the back seats!!

dont think the thottle boddied escort and starlet turbo was racing, my mate had a fiesta si but a 2ltr zetec in chipped, and it was still slower than my standard rs2000. and theres another1 going round, thats shit slow too. 2k loan turbo it and then it would be rapid!

i go to the cheshire rsoc meets mate but havent been up in the fiesta, was on choley street garage stand at a big cruise/meet the other week too but the car was rotton.

and trust me the throttle bodied escort was racing as its a close friend who owns the car. i didn't say i beat the car, i said it does well against them. was enough to make him comment and consider more headwork and wilder cams lol

 

car looks good mate,i have a 2ltr rs1800 with a few extra bits and i know wot u mean i love mine to bits keeps with alot of the newer cars

 

yeah, there not stupidly fast. but for a 130 horse motor, you wouldent expect to play with some of the cars you find about lol

this puts the power down really well which helps. can't wait to get on track with it

I'd call it a 'modern sleeper', its not a rusty mk1 but its not obviously mod'd either.

you built an amazing little car mate, unfortuantly needs a new 4th gear synchro, but the box is coming out next wweekend and going away to be sorted.

i will keep this thread or my one in projects updated mate as i;ve been doing lots of bits and bobs to the car lately, its going mint underneath.

also got some braided goodridge brakelines, Momo wheel and a few other little bits too.

the guy who i got it off neglected it mate too i think, should of seen the state it was in when i got it

can't belive how structually solid the car is for a mk3 fiesta, got rust on the bottom of the 2 front wings but that will get sorted probabley after show season and when the track days die down a bit, will get it painted once its caged etc...

agreed, i was expecting poverty bumpers and steels for a sleeper still looks nice on the pro race's

 

will be changind the wheels a bit over the next few weeks,

 

jsut got RS skirts and arches too, and a spare passanger side headlamp to make an air feed

 

i'm going to drop a 2.0 in mine once i find an engine

aye no worries, to put it in perspective the diff was over £500 alone, and you know its not done any work as its been on a 1600 90bhp fiesta all its life
