here are just a few pics of my rs2000, that i bought just a few weeks ago. followed by pics of my old 1.

i know these arent the most popular rs, but personally i think that they are seriously under rated. feel in love with my first 1. sold cus i got bord and regreted it ever since. so thought it was time to by another 1, but this time a 4x4. not as good as my last one, but still a minta.

please comment, bad or good. just wanted to know wot you people think of them.

not sure because i do like the standard look, but i just get bord.
really like the idea of turboing it, been pricing everything up. the only problem i'm having is getting bits for it. simple things like coilovers seem non exsistant. and with me wanting either rs7's again or escort cossie rims, there a must have.

if i cant get coilovers, then i would want some white 5 spokes 7jx17 compmos or same style. if there is any 1 that could photo shop me some white 5 or 6 spoke wheels on my car, i would be very gratefull.

I personally think a set of wheels, like you said, an exhaust, like the one on your old one and lowered and the exterior will be sorted Keep it subtle. Then go mad on the engine

Oo oo oo and this may just be me but i think tinting the bottom half of your rear clusters would look really good!!! Black and red mmmmm I done this on my Escort and thought it made it's arse look a million times better

i do like that idea, but i hate the home made job look. wish a company would make them cus they do look nice.

agreed, but as i said jus cant find any coilover kits for it. you can get loads for the 2wd, i had gaz coilovers on my last 1. going to make some phone calls this week. an i like the (go mad on the engine)bit, dont worry i plan too. cheers

I totally agree there like, i did mine myself out of a tin and i know it sounds rough (ok it was a bit ha ha) but it looked much better than it did, the professional look would look much better although if you could find someone to do it well (a paint shop) and come away with a nice lacquered finish it would just finish off the back end. I tried to find a pic but there are just none, don't see this done to them much but it has been.

thanks for all your comments. really looking forward to sending some time and money on this car, probably wont be doing much til the summer as its too cold at the min. it'll give me some time to save some money too. i'll be postin some pics of my xr2 in a min.

Both cars look good. Contact GAZ they make coilovers for the 4x4 but I think you have to wait a couple of weeks for them.

Is the new one Petrol Blue? Very nice indeed, I had an RS2k in Petrol, absolutely loved it!!

thanks for your comments. yea it is petrol blue. and my old 1 that every1 keeps calling black is dark Aubergine. glad to find people that like them, i'm used to people how say ''you want to get a real rs, you kno with a turbo'' an then laugh to there mates. then i'd sit on there arse wen they decided to race me. lol
