my daily driver/ track toy im building at the moment....

from this (when i collected it)







to how it stands at the moment (just over a month ive had it)

heres mine from when i bought it its a xr3i has a fully rebuilt tuned 1600cvh and fully stripped out inside these are old pics as the seats are now not in the car and the cage is coming out on sunday and im fitting a cage the same as bonus boys also a corbeau revolution GRP/Kevlar seat is going in along with my flocked dash and race steering wheel.

yes mate i did its sat in my living room waiting to be fit shouldnt be a big job as most of the loom from the dash has been cut out already

no way...i was looking at it and in two minds whether to buy it...few hours later i thought yer il buy it, went on ebay and it was sold via buyitnow lol!!!

never mind....

dont know anyone selling some harness's do you? not sure whats the best to go for, 3point or 4point as there only going to be on 88spec recaros...

what you think?

i have some sabelt 4 points forsale problem is there involved in a ebay dispute at the moment so i cant sell em again untill its resolved id say either three or four point would be fine ive got a set of luke 4 points im gunna use for the track but when i start racing im gunna fit six points.

Thinking of doing a pug 306 as they are very light have already had a 306 xsi track car was good fun until i binned it into a lamp post

Here is mine, it's an XR3i 130BHP.

I chose it because the zetec is a reliable engine, bits are easy to find and the zetec revs well. I really wanted a mk4 xr3i but the CVH is getting old now and the zetec is a better engine. Handling on the mk5 isn't as good as the mk4 but i am sorting it as we speak/write!

Not the fastest thing in the world but a lot of fun







This is a pic of my first time out in my MK4, was more fun than the mk5 but i wanted to have a dedicated track toy so i used the mk4 to see if i would like the trackdays and you guessed it I did.

Only done 1 trcak day and a session at Ford Fair 07, but will soon be going a diet and getting a lot more track useage.


Currenly running at about 250bhp and 850kg at the moment

Yep, but it's never enough though
Runs about 18psi , have had it at 24 but charge temps get a bit of an issue unless it bloody cold out, ECU goes into limp mode
