probably down to weight. front and rear are glass as the sides look like perspex. they are easily removed so i guess its just a weight saver

loved all the old skoolers there yesterday and i cjust couldnt believe how fast that escort was in the first pic, noise was a beaut too
i did see a yellow 105e with a cossie engine in that was an auto
shame about that blue one tha crashed big
