chipped
stainless steel exhaust
4x4 calipers and discs all round
mt75 box
adjustable konis
cosworth cloth interior
sierra cosworth diff

abount 246 bhp

It looks well mate. I bet it goes ok to. So are these cosworth V6 engines any good then cause alot of people seem to be using them.

They are excellent engines for the price you pay for it, and are just over 200bhp powerwise and better fuel consumption than a 12v, but in genaral good engines.

had the 24v on the track at ford fair silverstone


the car performed well

fitted a full cosworth body kit,leather interior,goodridge hoses,grooved discs,dot 5 brake fluid,red stuff pads,mudflaps and badges

ready for another track day on sat 4th Oct 2008 at bishopscourt

I miss my old white 24v XR4i in my sig

Just wished they done the silicone hoses when i had mine, would of finished it off nice.

update

got the loom retaped and pulled back into the engine bay

also done the following

painted the brake servo and the bonnet catch

put exhaust wrap on the manifold and the down pipes

Put in bob cams and timmed them up

Painted other items from the engine bay

Radiator and cowl plus fans tidied up and rebuilt

cross member fitted

rest of items and gearbox fitted

next on list lift back into shells

well done mate, i'd love a sierra cossy lookalike with the boa 24v engine, I have it in my granada but the car is to good to break, however I would like to do a manual conversion on it. i've heard ya get better mpg, and there quicker

Has it really been that long since i have done anything to the 24v

Well update

Have been holding off doing anymore as there where a few things i have been after

Larger brake servo and master cylinder got on ebay as second chance offer for 28.00 posted(ultra rare item and the one i really wanted)

MT75 Quick shift got at ford fair for 60.00 anther(bargin)

Im glad to report i now have them

how much power can the mt-75's handle? my dad has a 24v in a capri 2.8i special with the type 9 and its abit crap.... mt-75 worth getting? would they handle 300hp if he done a single turbo conversion? ta

MT75 alot stronger than Type 9 300bhp shouldnt be a problem

Also could go T5 but a v6 bell housing from burton power

the mt75 is the same box as the cossie one internally. should do fine at 300hp
